Bluestone Property Management (BPM) is a boutique rental agency with a diverse wide-ranging property industry background and unique skill set tuned to increasing returns for our owners.

New properties are regularly added to the portfolio by investors choosing to join the fold or make the switch to BPM’s team of experienced staff with extensive property management experience operating rent rolls in South East Queensland.

This growth curve has resulted in new staff and relocation to a centralised office enabling the BPM team to professionally manage properties all over Brisbane from Caboolture to Coomera and Ipswich to Moreton Bay.

Janelle Robertson

Senior Property Manager

Janelle brings a wealth of property management expertise to Bluestone Property Management. A highly experienced professional and skilled problem solver Janelle prides herself on her positive, honest and motivated approach. Janelle is committed to delivering not only exceptional results but transparent communication to ensure peace of mind and maximum return on your investment.

Having worked in a senior role for some time, Janelle understands the importance of attracting the right tenants from the start and regularly communicating with her Landlords is always a priority.

She is determined to ensure landlords and tenants receive the utmost professional service and has gained a reputation as someone whom owners and tenants can rely upon in all situations.

Her knowledge of rental trends and legislation is on point and she is always motivated to give help and advice to our clients assisting our clients in making informed decisions regarding the management of their investment. Being the owner of an investment property herself, Janelle knows firsthand what she would expect from a Property Manager and ensures she delivers that same outstanding service.

Joe Hawes

Sales Manager

Joe Hawes has been successfully selling real estate since 2002 in Brisbane, Sydney and Northern NSW.  His pro-active approach, hard work and skill have resulted in hundreds of outstanding sales results over the years, and a large client base of delighted vendors and purchasers.

Joe’s passion for real estate is actually a passion for helping people through one of the major financial decisions of their life – selling and buying property successfully. With his training and expertise in residential property sales, Joe is an excellent communicator, offering advanced marketing strategies and refined negotiation skills designed to add maximum value, reduce stress, and achieve the best possible outcomes for all stakeholders.

As the Sales Manager for Bluestone, Joe takes a vested interest in helping our clients to make sound real estate decisions based on individual needs.  After 17 years of industry experience as a Licensed Real Estate Sales Agent, and as a Strata/Body Corporate Manager, Joe offers a solid and reliable real estate service with the support of an awesome property team at Bluestone. Joe looks forward to working with you and providing the best real estate experience he possibly can.

Tammy Barritt

Property Manager

Tammy started in the industry as a receptionist in a small office in 2009 working alongside the Senior Property Manager and Business Owner. Tammy’s strong work ethic and hands-on approach quickly saw her tackling the challenging role of Property Manager.

Tammy outstanding results quickly escalated her to the role of Office Manager enabling her to work closely with the business owner to provide exceptional service dedicated to ensuring quality results.

Tammy went on to broaden her skills and gained experience and by learning to work in different office environments. The exposure to diverse systems, procedures and situations provided Tammy with the tools to handle complexed, tricky and often technical Property Management situations.

With the ability to build long-term relationships with owners and tenants alike Tammy prides herself on providing exceptional services. Tammy provides her clients with sound advice based on many years of industry knowledge and know-how they can relax relaxed knowing that their investment is in safe hands.

Tammy is a valued member of the Bluestone Property Management Team, and we are excited about her future within the company.

Amanda MacPherson

Assistant Property Manager

Amanda is versatile and has extensive experience in Property Management, Human Resourcing, Workplace Health and Safety and her families cleaning business.

Amanda started working as an Assistant Property Manager ages ago and after several years changed direction into the Aged Care Residential industry. Recently Amanda worked as Operations Manager and Workplace Health and Safety Officer developing business plans with a focus on cost control and revenue growth. Amanda was also involved in the planning and development of a specialist dementia wing to ensure the safety of the high need patients. More recently, Amanda reacted to a call for help from the family business and implemented systems, procedures, checklist and policies to making the business scalable.

Amanda has developed exception managerial skills over her time in aged care and has decided to come back to the Property Management industry to share her knowledge and assist in developing and improving the industry as a whole. Amanda’s communication skills are excellent, and we are proud to have her as part of the Bluestone Property Management & Sales Team.

Marcella Walker

Financial Controller

Marcella is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years’ experience in the financial services and property industry and has been with the company since its inception.  Marcella commenced her career.

Marcella commenced her career as a taxation consultant with Arthur Andersen and has subsequently held senior finance roles at Bankers Trust and Perpetual. At Bankers Trust Marcella was responsible for all statutory, compliance, financial and management reporting obligations for its real estate funds management business including both listed and unlisted property funds. At Perpetual, Marcella had national responsibility for developing and managing its service offering to property syndicators and funds management clients.

Marcella has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland, a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance & Investment from FinSIA, and is a member of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Lisa Reeves

Financial Administrator

Lisa joined Bluestone Property Management in 2015. Lisa has a Bachelor of Business from the University of Southern Queensland and assists with the Human Resources, Safety, Financials, Administration and Compliance to ensure the high standard, reliability and professionalism of the corporation maintained.

Lisa started her career in Chartered Accountancy before quickly finding her niche in Management Accounting. Lisa has over 20 years’ experience working in Manufacturing environments and now extensive financial administration experience within the property industry.

Pinky Espanola

Administration

Pinky is a highly motivated and results driven Administration Assistant. She is extremely enthusiastic and is a very down to earth person who has a high level of communication skills across multiple mediums.

She understands the importance of exceptional customer service and strives to go the extra mile in her dealing with clients. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, singing and spending time with her family.

Mark Shorrock

Managing Director & Principal Licensee

Mark boasts 20 plus years of comprehensive hands-on, industry experience successfully having held every property management, sales and admin role in his parents three real estate agencies over the past 38 years.

Mark brings to Bluestone Property Management a unique skill set rarely seen in the industry enabling him to survive and thrive in boom and bust markets. Additionally, Mark has twelve years’ hospitality experience as an owner-chef, building his businesses turnover by 750%.

A tech-savvy people person whose optimistic outlook and innovative approach have seen him become number one internationally with a previous agency.

Driven and genuinely passionate about helping people, Mark offers his staff and clients a unique balance of insight, operational expertise and commercial acumen coupled with strong people skills.

Mark is dedicated to maximising Bluestone’s client’s returns and minimising the stress involved with owning an investment property!
